Safety

Our commitment to safety goes above and beyond legislation. The safest way
to do a job is also the smartest way, and we find the safest methods are also the most cost effective.

Our absolute commitment to safety has led to many innovations in the way we plan and execute our projects. Wherever possible, we use sound engineering principles to eliminate any hazard. This has led to new ways of doing old jobs and has resulted in an exceptional safety record.

Our Safety management System is accredited to AS/NZS 4801 and is fully compliant with all relevant Australian Acts and Regulations.

Quality

Quality control isn’t simply about paperwork and compliance; it’s about making certain that everyone understands what they should be doing, and how they should be doing it. We ensure our people are informed, equipped and educated.

Pipe and Civil uses a systematic approach to foster a ‘quality culture’ of continuous improvement and development throughout the business.

We adopt industry best practices in our systems and procedures which are fully certified in accordance with ISO 9001.

Environment

Part of being sustainable is being efficient, Pipe and Civil maximises efficiency by
identifying potential hazards, then developing the appropriate controls and preventive
measures. Employee training, regular inspections and audits help us to often exceed our sustainability objectives.

Detailed front end planning enables us to reduce the duration between initial clearing
and final rehabilitation on a cross country pipeline. It also helps us to plan our works to minimise the impact on waterways or sensitive ecological areas.

We have developed our Environmental Management System to meet the IS014001 standard ensuring we minimise our impact on the world we live and work in.
